Accessibility Policy
1. Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to ensure that all users, including people with disabilities, have access to our company's web-based information and services. Clade & Co., Inc. (hereafter, "Clade") is committed to the principles of inclusive design.
2. Authority
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) has the authority and responsibility for this policy and its implementation.
3. Scope
This policy applies to all of Clade's digital properties, including our public website (clade.co) and the Clade application platform.
4. Policy Statement
Clade will strive for conformance with recognized accessibility standards, specifically the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. Our development and design teams will familiarize themselves with and apply these standards to all new and existing features over time.
4.1 Reporting Accessibility Issues

4.2 Triage and Remediation Process
All reported issues will be logged, assigned a tracking number, and triaged by the Accessibility Representative. Remediation priority will be assigned based on the following severity levels:
- Critical (P0): An issue that prevents a user from accessing core functionality (e.g., login, core workflows).
- Target Remediation: 8 Weeks.
- Major (P1): An issue that makes a feature difficult to use but does not block core functionality.
- Target Remediation: 16 Weeks.
- Minor (P2): An issue that is an inconvenience but does not significantly impact the user experience (e.g., minor contrast issues).
- Target Remediation: 16 Weeks.
4.3 Auditing and Monitoring
To monitor and improve accessibility, we employ a combination of automated and manual testing methodologies. This includes the use of industry-standard tools to regularly scan our digital properties for conformance with WCAG 2.2 AA standards.
4.4 Training
Foundational accessibility training will be provided for all new designers and developers to foster an accessibility-focused culture.
5. Policy Review
This policy will be reviewed and updated on an annual basis to ensure it remains current with evolving standards and best practices.
